Thank you

We sent dad off in style on Saturday.  He would have been proud of the celebration, and maybe a little bit embarrassed by the outpouring of love and grief that you all brought with you.  It was humbling and deeply rewarding for me to see and talk to all of you who joined us.

From the bottom of my heart I want to thank everyone who came to his favorite place and shared in some of his favorite hobbies, music, and food.  It was quite a party, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Happy Trails, Dad.  I love you and miss you more than ever.......  J

The weather forecast for Saturday, September 10, 2011 looks favorable, and our plans are taking shape.  We hope you'll join us for this celebration of dad's life.

Mom is concerned that everyone should be comfortable, so casual and cool will be the fashion rule of the day.  There will be music, food, stories, and tears (I'm sure!).......dancing to the bluegrass music may break out at some point.......It's just how dad would want it.

Please don't hesitate to leave any questions or concerns in the comment section here, or email me at docjcseymour@yahoo.com , and I'll do my best to get back to you.

Thank you for all of your support and generosity.  I look forward to seeing you on the 10th.

Julie

For anyone who isn't familiar with the area, here is a link to a map of the area around Rocky Mountain Metro (JeffCo) Airport.  Once you get onto the property on Interlocken, drive toward the white control tower.  The traffic circle that goes around the tower will take you right by the front door of the terminal building before you circle around to the close-in parking lot.

We lost dad in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, the 9th of August, 2011.  All of his children and several of his grand children were in the house ~ all gathered around when he passed.

There will be no funeral service, per se.  However, a memorial celebration is being planned for Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00 in the morning at the Terminal Building at Rocky Mountain Metro (JeffCo) Airport in Broomfield, Colorado.  Don't be late!  If the weather is fair there will be a fly-by to start the celebration.
